Penang Aikido Demonstration 2016

We welcome the public to come visit us at YMCA hall in Penang to see what is Aikido and to see demonstrations as performed by many Aikido centers from all over Malaysia.

It is also co-organised by Consulate General of Japan in Penang.

If there are questions about the availability of centers or the activities so that you can also learn this self defense art, please talk to any Aikido members there after the closing ceremony. We will be happy to share with you.

Briefly, we call it a martial art of Peace because it is non-violent, non-aggressive and it is not a sport. We use only very little strength and effort to defend ourselves. Any gender or age is able to train it and continue to do so for life, similar to Tai Chi concept.

We hope you will come, along with your friends or family on that day.
